Luna is an AI-guided tarot companion for self-reflection and entertainment. This explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.
What you create
Your questions, the cards you draw, your written reflections and mood, and an optional name and birth date (used only to add a light sun-sign touch).
By default these live in your browser's local storage — on your device, not our servers.
If you sync or sign in
To carry your history across devices, the app can store it in our database (Supabase) under an anonymous ID, or under your email if you add one. Adding an email is optional.
What we send to the AI
To write a reflection, your question and the drawn cards (and, if provided, your name or sun sign) are sent to our AI provider (e.g. DeepSeek or OpenAI). Don't include sensitive personal details you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI.
For a two-person reading, the other person's name and birth date (if you enter them) are also sent — only add someone else's details with their okay.
Notifications
If you turn on daily reminders, we store a push token (web push, or an Apple/Google device token in the app) to deliver them. You can turn reminders off anytime.
Usage analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to see aggregate page views and feature events. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking. We do NOT use Google Analytics, the Facebook Pixel, or any ad SDK.
Who processes data for us
Vercel (hosting + analytics), Supabase (database + accounts), our AI provider (generating reflections), and Apple/Google push services (delivering notifications). They process data only to run Luna.
Where it's processed
On servers operated by the above providers, which may be in the United States. If you're in the EU/UK, your data may be transferred there to provide the service.
Your choices & rights
You can use Luna anonymously. In the app you can export all your data, or delete it from this device. To access, correct, or fully erase data synced to our servers (GDPR / CCPA), contact us. You can unsubscribe from reminders anytime.
Retention
Device data stays until you clear it (or clear your browser). Synced/account data stays until you delete it or ask us to.
Children
Luna isn't intended for anyone under 16. We ask you to confirm your age before using it.
